We introduced several workflow innovations to streamline production:
AI-Assisted Workflow: We implemented an AI-driven video logging system, allowing the crew to review and annotate footage instantly on iPads. This significantly improved on-set communication and efficiency.
Immersive On-Set Visuals: Using Touch Designer, we controlled on-set monitors to provide real visual context for the actors. This reduced the fatigue of acting against green screens and allowed technology to better support their performance.
Precision Planning: By combining Pre-viz with Tech-viz, we ensured precise coordination for complex VFX shots, minimizing technical risk before the cameras even rolled.
As the defining work of our VFX era, this show proved we can seamlessly merge art and tech. AAIC now applies that same high standard of quality to the future of immersive VR.
